Attractions
Building unforgettable attractions requires vision, and sound that brings them to life. If creating the audio for your format feels overwhelming, we’re here to help. Using VR and virtual acoustics, we prototype your attraction early, identifying technical and creative sound challenges before construction, and you experience firsthand what your visitors will feel once it’s complete.
Dark Rides, Theme Parks, Amusement Parks, Museums, LBE - we make sure your audience feels what they see, seamlessly and meaningfully.
Showcases
We were very satisfied with the cooperation with DELTA Soundworks. The atmosphere and sound effects have greatly contributed to the success of the Pirates in Batavia. We are already looking forward to the next project with you.
Christof Zimmermann - Projektmanagement Thematisierung & Dekoration
When done right, sound seamlessly envelops the audience in the story and the worlds we create. DELTA’s innovative tools and collaborative approach made it easy and quick for me, as the Director of the project, to make decisions and adjustments.
Janick Furler - Ride Designer – Mack Solutions
The involvement of DELTA Soundworks was invaluable during the renovation of the Ghost Castle. Their collaborative teamwork, and their creative involvement with us throughout the project, were a major asset in the making of the attraction.

Why is sound important in theme park attractions?
Sound is important in theme park attractions because it delivers both emotion and information. While music creates mood and emotional impact, it cannot explain what is happening or guide the guest experience on its own.
A complete sound design uses effects, spatial audio, and environmental sounds to direct attention, support storytelling, and make environments feel real.
How does audio influence guest experience in rides and attractions?
Audio directly impacts how guests feel and react. It can create tension, excitement, or calm, and helps guide attention throughout the experience. Well-designed sound enhances immersion and ensures that key story moments are clearly understood, even in dynamic and fast-moving environments.
What role does immersive sound play in storytelling for attractions?
Immersive sound transforms attractions into believable worlds. By placing sound sources within the environment, we can support narrative beats, reveal unseen elements, and deepen emotional engagement. This turns a ride into a story-driven experience rather than just a sequence of visual events.
How do you design sound for complex, multi-zone attraction environments?
We approach attractions as interconnected systems. During the planning phase, we define how audio behaves across different zones and transitions. Using spatial audio and precise system design, we ensure seamless continuity, so guests experience a coherent soundscape as they move through the attraction.
How do you ensure audio works perfectly in complex attraction environments before installation?
We use our in-house tool, the Digital Audio Twin to design and test the full sound experience in advance. This allows us to simulate how audio behaves in the real space, including timing, positioning, and interaction with the environment. It also reduces costly adjustments on-site and ensures the final experience sounds exactly as intended.
